Does Mucus Come Before Menses

Albanopumpkins - Mellon Collie And The Infinite Power

Fifteen years after its release, "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness" by Smashing Pumpkins remains one of the most influential albums in history. One of the precious few records that have shown to be beyond genres and trends. How many people you know own a copy? A lot of them. Maybe all. Albanopower are among these people. Headed by Lorenzo Urciullo - also known as Colapesce, and the person who took it upon himself to coordinate the project - the Sicilian band embarked on a mad quest to pay tribute to Billy Corgan and friends' genius. 26 songs, over two hours of music. A work of sheer, beautiful madness, made possible with the help of over fifty musicians, all selected Among Their longtime friends and collaborations, who revisited Their favorite tracks on the album or Worked Directly with Albanopower. Within A tribute to tribute. A way of playing with songs That Have helped shape music as we know it, with reverence and not a whole lot of respect. Enjoy.

Fifteen years after its release, "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness," Smashing Pumpkins continues to be an important disc. One of those - few - are able to go beyond the genres and fashions. How many people do you know have a copy of this record at home? Many, many, perhaps all. Surely we have that's Albanopower, led by Lorenzo Urciullo - also known as Colapesce, who has to shoulder the task of pulling the strings of the project - have decided to try their hand at an idle. The remake of the masterpiece full of Billy Corgan and company. 28 songs for more than two hours of music. A madness. They were aided by more than fifty musicians, all selected from the group of friends, who have dedicated entire songs to revisit, or to cooperate with each other and with the Albano. A sort of tribute in the tribute. One way to play songs that have made the history of music, without feeling any kind of awe. Respect yes, much. Enjoy.
