BIOGRAPHY
was born on 09/12/1897 in Udine, a small merchant family.
He started courses at the Architecture Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, but in 1916 was forced to abandon their studies because they called up. At the end of the war resumed his studies to graduate in 1921. In the same year he emigrated to Romania and worked there until 1924, when he returns to Italy. He stops in Udine
until 1931, where he worked as an architect and interior designer, through the early Deco style and then move on to the rationalism (especially when working in Milan). In many of the buildings of his projects was not limited to define the mobility, but also the ornaments and decorations, creating environments consistent with a strong interaction between architecture and interior spaces. In 1927, replaces Joseph
Barazzutti as artistic director of the production of furniture Fantoni, to provide new forms and closer to modern currents. Initially, probably for reasons of purchasing the shooting style and then revisit the new spirit of simplifying the traditional forms, landing to a convinced adherence to the Art Deco style.
Among the works carried out together with two other architects involved in Friuli, and Peter Herman Midena Zanini, the V Triennale di Milano in 1933 with the "House of the aviator, with great success.
Since 1931, he moved to Milan, where he continues to work both as an architect and interior designer.
In 1942 he was called to arms and after September 8, participates in the movement of the clandestine resistance.
After the Second World War resumed his regular work and was elected an independent candidate in the list of PCI to the City Council of Milan.
died in Rome in 1953 after we had moved for health reasons.
